Joyce, Father Peter, Ellen and Alissa in line to view the Shroud.
The wait was close to an hour, fortunately the majority of the time was in the shade as the temperature was in the 80's.
The definition of a pilgrimage is a journey to a sacred place or shrine. A long journey or search, especially one of exalted purpose or moral significance. Everyone who goes on a pilgrimage brings different life experiences and different beliefs. The pilgrims will forever remember not only the sacred shrines they visited, they will forever remember the friendships that were created. The purpose of this blog is to share this experience with all who were unable to attend.
